Date: Sunday 29th November 2026
Time: 10am
Location: Online (link to be circulated closer to date)

If you require assistance accessing the online meeting or need accommodations to participate, please contact us in advance at gensecretary@scottishpowerlifting.com.

Motions

Motions are proposals that seek to fundamentally change Scottish Powerlifting’s constitution or core ways of working. These may include amendments to specific words or phrases within the existing constitution. As such, motions must be formally submitted and will be subject to a vote.

If you have any items you would like to raise for discussion that do not constitute a formal motion, you are welcome to email these to us in advance. These items will be addressed under Any Other Business (AOB) at the end of the meeting, but will not be subject to a vote. The Executive Committee may review all submitted motions and, with your agreement, categorise them appropriately to ensure they are managed in line with governance requirements.

If you would like to submit a motion, please email gensecretary@scottishpowerlifting.com, quoting your 2026 membership number. Please include the following information when submitting motions:

  • Your name and membership number
  • A brief 1-2 sentence overview of your motion
  • Rationale for your motion
  • Impact of your motion, were it to be accepted and implemented

Committee Nominations

All non-executive roles are open to new applications at each AGM. As such, any member may submit themselves to be considered for the roles below.
